Yoga, such a gift with so much depth that I can hardly find the words to describe and honor the practice. Yoga has reflected life back to me as a mirror, it has given me insight in my habits, patterns and tendencies. It’s raw, honest and beautiful at the same time.

My experience is that during practice there is no escape to see yourself as you truly are. The way you give up or push through in difficult poses, the way you connect and disconnect from the breath through distractions of the mind, the way you speak to yourself in harsh or loving language. I started to turn inwards more often, with an open and curious mindset, becoming conscious of subconscious behavior and sensing my capacity to change. The yoga mat, a safe space to practice new internal responses and behavior, realizing that the key to change lies within.

Yoga On & Off the mat

What we practice on the mat, we become off the mat! So, I became more confident to face my fears, more compassionate towards others and self, more trusting in uncertain times, more daring to follow a path less travelled. My internal changes started to reflect in external changes, transforming more aspect of my life. I started to teach yoga, I started to work as a barista, and I left a secure job & income to explore what would happen if I had more time.


In the meantime, I have fallen in love with life, thoroughly enjoying the variety by servicing as a barista, personal leadership coach and yoga teacher, and recently launched my Pineapple Happy Life postcards, sharing more love & light into the world.
